Call for protests against the NATO “Security” Conference
Take to the streets in Munich on Saturday, 17 February 2018
While in February the 54th “Security” conference will be taking place in Munich,
the world’s greatest military powers will stand face-to-face at the Russian frontier due to the advance of NATO troops;
the conflict between North Korea and the USA threatens to escalate into a nuclear war;
the NATO countries and their allies are destroying the bases of the existence of millions of people, thus forcing them to flee, for example in the Kurdish regions, in Yemen, and in Afghanistan;
815 million people in the world are suffering chronic hunger. Every ten seconds, a child under the age of five dies from the results of undernourishment. But even in Germany, 15% of the population lives in poverty and social insecurity.
So it is high time to discuss global security for all human beings, but that is not what the so-called Security Conference ((SIKO) in Munich is about.
